A leading UK Financial Services Group who specialise in the Actuarial, Pensions and Investment Market are looking for an ambitious career oriented candidate who would like to train and develop within Pensions Covenant.
This niche growing consultancy area provides research, market data and analysis to large UK corporates who require in depth Pension Scheme scrutiny. Risk based appraisals are often required as part of the Mergers & Acquisitions process, Corporate Restructuring, Management Buyouts and Refinancing.
You will be part of a team who advise clients and trustees on complex funding & investment strategies. Using you Financial Analysis skills you will add valuable insight to clients and help interpret complex information into easy to understand reports and analysis.
Specifics of the role will include –
- Examine companies financial statements and provide quantitative and qualitative analysis on the clients financial position.
- Research clients and wider market positions, gathering all relevant information from a variety of sources to help create an in-depth review.
- Draft detailed reports, clearly setting out employer covenant analysis. Produce summary tables, charts and commentary helping simplify complex information.
- Help prepare presentation material, including relevant analysis, reports, legislative information and relevant case studies.
- Take an active role in client presentations, marketing activities of the department and the tenders.
To apply for this position, you must have a strong analytical background, with experience of analysing financial statements and company records. Due to the nature of the role you will also have to display excellent communication and client skills. You must also be happy to study towards further professional qualifications and have a strong desire to learn and undertake training & development.
