- Associate Financial Planner / Technical Advisor
London - £45,000 - £55,000 (experience dependant)
A leading Wealth Management Practice who work with niche HNW professional clients providing Holistic Financial Planning are looking to recruit an Associate Financial Planner. The role will involve working closely with Financial Planners and clients ensuring the highest levels of advice and service are provided. You will be expected to provide first class research, conduct in depth analysis and report writing.
Specifics of the role will include –
- Conduct in depth reviews of clients & family financial situation and identify a pathway to achieving objectives.
- Generate trust and long-term relationships with all clients. Be willing to present challenging ideas and initiatives which could be in the client’s long term interest.
- Analyse other team members work, review for errors, improvements and make recommendations.
- Develop strong relationships with the Financial Planners and understand their requirements and needs to specific clients.
- Quickly respond to changing client circumstances and objectives
- Be aware of changing legislation which could improve or downgrade client portfolios. Make suggestions and recommendations to improve or take advantage of changes.
- Ensure you operate within FCA and company guidelines. Comply with company Quality Assurance team.
- Work within the company’s strong client & team ethos. Take ownership of work and work in a positive supportive team environment.
- Have regular meetings with Senior Management; make recommendations, be involved in any changes and provide positive input to improve company success.
To apply for the position, you will need to hold QCF Level 4 and have a strong technical wealth management background gained in a similar role. HNW Investment Strategy experience and family tax planning would be advantageous even though a high degree of training will be provided. You will also need to display excellent communication skills, have a strength of character to manage clients and financial planners and be able to work with a positive attitude even in challenging circumstances.
