The successful candidates will join designated teams who look after the whole client process allowing better client relationships to be formed and greater diversity and job satisfaction.
Specifics of the role will include:
- Taking a proactive and efficient approach to a portfolio of clients, acting as the primary contact and building lasting relationships
- Gaining extensive knowledge of specific client pension schemes and requirements
- Assisting with work flow management and deputising for the Team Leader in their absence
- Involvement with recruitment and staff appraisals
- Providing technical and administrative support to the Administration Manager when required
- Handling complex pensions queries and pensions consultative advice
- Complex manual benefits calculations
- Overseeing and reviewing the completion of the annual renewal, trustee reports and accounts
- Attendee trustee meetings
- Managing annual and ad-hoc projects ensuring that objectives and timescales are achieved in an efficient and effective manner
- Providing training and support to colleagues where necessary
- Taking a proactive approach to improving service delivery, processes and procedures stemming from the company’s approach in encouraging new ideas and innovation.

To apply for the position, you should have thorough Pensions Administration experience gained in DB, DC or both schemes (likely to appeal to individuals with at least 5 years’ experience). You should have strong communication skills, a positive work ethic and be client led in your approach to work.
