A leading UK Pensions & Investment Consultancy who are continuing to grow at a rapid rate are looking to recruit at Associate Consultant and Consultant level. This is an opportunity to work with some of the UK’s biggest employers and innovative DC schemes, expanding your knowledge and expertise. This is a diverse challenging role working alongside experienced colleagues who will mentor you and develop your understanding paving the way for you to take on greater responsibilities and develop your career.
Specifics of the role outside strategic development will include –
- Manage a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships and helping them solve and manage Investment challenges.
- Work closely with Senior Consultants on larger more complex schemes developing your knowledge and understanding.
- Design investment strategies, communication briefs, scheme governance and compliance demonstrating good value for clients.
- Be a key part of client meetings, providing advice and helping clients navigate complex decisions. Promote innovative ideas and products to help solve clients’ problems. Lead and support where appropriate.
- Research and draft technical reports, papers and analysis for peer review.
- Mentor and coach junior members of the team, help them develop and grow as part of the team.
- Support new business activities, pitches, and the production of tender submissions. Help pursue new business opportunities.
To apply for the position, you will need to show the commitment and passion required to meet ambitious development plans. From a technical point of view, you will need a proven track record in providing investment consultancy advice to DC Pension schemes and preferable hold or at least be working towards professional qualifications depending on your experience level.
